Record breaking sticky toffee pudding.

A crowd of people as well as members of the media watch as the last bag of sauce is emptied onto a record breaking 334kg sticky toffee pudding by members of a team at Farmhouse Fare in Clitheroe.

A man threatening to jump from the old market in Blackburn reacts as he walks along the edge of the roof.


Police were called to the scene around 3pm and surrounded the building as well as cordoning off roads in and out of the town centre.



A large amount of shoppers who had gathered on the opposite side of the road were moved by police towards Church street.



After around one hour police managed to persuade the man to come down and he was taken to Royal Blackburn hospital for a health check.
